Eine variable Bitrate ist völlig normal. Eine variable Bildrate wäre u. U. ein Problem, die ist aber hier konstant.
Das Problem ist ein ganz anderes: Die Decodierung von AVC in 4:2:2 mit 10 bit wird derzeit nur vom Apple M1 und den neuesten Intel iGPUs unterstützt.
Wo keine der beiden Hardwares vorhanden ist, wird per Software dekodiert und das ist bei UHD eine erhebliche Herausforderung.
Mit ProRes hat das Ganze nichts zu tun, dies hier ist ein GOP-Codec.
